Brief Character Overview

Jean Luc Picard – Captain: somewhat of an aristocrat, Picard is an intelligent, dedicated, and at times rigid Starfleet officer. 

William T. Riker-  First Officer: a strong and dedicated Starfleet officer, who values his crew mates’ lives over his own. He is also quite a ladies man, and used to date Deanna.

Deanna Troi-  Ship’s Counselor: half betazoid, Deanna is empathic. She can sense peoples feelings. She serves as the ship counselor, and often is involved in diplomatic missions.

Data – Lt. Commander. He is an android, built by Dr. Noonien Soong.

Worf – The first Klingon in Starfleet. He was raised by humans. He still believes vehemently in Klingon ideals. He is a warrior.

Tasha Yar – security chief. She was rescued from the colony Turkana IV. 

Geordi LaForge – Chief engineer. Wears a visor because he was born completely blind. Funny and smart, always dependable.

Miles O’brien – Recurring character in engineering. Usually working the transporter room.

Beverly Crusher – Doctor. She is very smart, and close with Picard. Her husband died in duty 

Wesley Crusher – Beverly’s son. Fairly smart. He tries.
